This operator will help if you need pages that contain a range of words you are searching for, For instance, if you enter in the search field news OR cnn OR bloomberg, you will be able to view all pages containing those words.<\/p>\n\n\n

Let’s say you need to locate all pages that contain the word news, but not the keyword cnn. You just need to type in news -cnn to get the required results.<\/p>\n\n\n

3) Exact phrase operator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“hello world”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This operator will show only the search results those that contain the exact phrases entered. For example, “cnn news”.<\/p>\n\n\n

4) Strict order operator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s say you know that the page you need contains the word news and then cnn, or vice versa. In the search field, you type in news << cnn to be able to view the pages you need.<\/p>\n\n\n

5) Date operator<\/strong> – searching by creation date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

date:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This operator allows you to locate pages that were created on a specific day or during a specific period.<\/p>\n\n\n

Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

date:06\/09\/2017 – will display all pages created on September 6, 2017. If the western date format is used, pages for June 9, 2017 will display.
date:06\/09\/2017-25\/09\/2017 – will display all pages created during the period between September 6 and September 25.
date:09 – displays all pages created in September this year.
Search word date: 06\/09\/2017 – will display pages created on September 6 and contain the search word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) Folders operator – searches in specific folders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

folders:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this operator, you can find pages located in specific folders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

search word folders:folder1,folder2 – looks for pages in folders folder1 and folder2 containing the search word. For long folder names, you can use quotation marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For instance, search word folders:”my main folder” – looks for pages from folder called “my main folder” containing the search word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7) Tags operator <\/strong>– searching through pages with specific tags<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tags:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to find pages with specific tags, enter tags: in the search field, and then enter the tag you are looking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This works in the same way as the “folders” filter. Therefore, folders: must be replaced with tags:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need to find a tag that consists of more then one word, use commas. Here are some examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tags:\u201cmy tag\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tags:\u201cthree words tag\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8) Files operator:<\/strong> This allows you to search for pages that contain specific file types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

files:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allows you to locate pages that contain specific types of files.<\/p>\n\n\n

Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

files:mp4 – allows you to locate pages containing mp4 files.
search word files:mp4 – finds pages that contain mp4 files and the search word in the text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9) Encryption:yes operator<\/strong> – This operator helps you find all encrypted pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

encryption:yes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

encryption:yes – will display all encrypted pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

search word encryption:yes – will show all encrypted pages containing the search word in the name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10) Intitle operator<\/strong> – If you want to find a page based only on its title, you can type intitle: in the search field, and then enter the keywords you are looking for. This will filter your results based only on the name of a page.<\/p>\n\n\n

intitle:game – will find all pages containing the word “game” in the title<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11) Todo operator<\/strong> – By using this operator, you will filter your results based on whether pages have tasks in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

todo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples<\/p>\n\n\n\n

todo: – will display all pages with tasks to do
todo:false – will display all pages with UNcompleted tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12) Color operator<\/strong> – With this operator, you can filter your results based on the color of your pages. If you want to find a red page, search color: red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


color:purple
color:blue
color:lightblue
color:red
color:yellow
color:orange
color:green<\/p>\n\n\n\n

search word color:green – will display pages that are color-tagged green and contain the search word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13) Highlight operator<\/strong>– You can use this operator to search through highlighted text in your pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

highlight:yes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

highlight:yes – displays all pages with highlighted text.
search word highlight:yes – displays pages with the search word in highlighted text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14) Inurl operator<\/strong> – this operator allows you to search for pages saved from a specific site (for example, via Nimbus Clipper<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

inurl:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples:
inurl:techcrunch.com – locates all pages that were saved from techcrunch.com
search word inurl:techcrunch.com – allows you to locate pages that were saved from techcrunch.com and that contain the search word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complex queries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nimbus Note<\/a> supports complex queries. For instance, let’s say you need to locate all pages that are color-tagged green, saved from mashable.com, and contain the word “game”.
